FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:

1. What exactly is "transpersonal" hypnotherapy?Think of your brain as having two main parts:. Your conscious mind is your daily, thinking self (5-10%)
. Your subconscious mind is your "below conscious" self (90-95%)
The subconscious is our "supercomputer" which stores all your memories, habits, emotions, and a sense of who you are beyond just your personality. "Transpersonal" simply means we explore beyond (trans) the personal self. We gently work with the subconscious to uncover and heal patterns you might not even be aware of, sometimes accessing deeper layers of wisdom, creativity, or understanding.

2. Is this hypnosis like being controlled on stage?
No, not at all. Stage hypnosis is for entertainment. Therapeutic hypnosis is a natural state of deeply focused relaxation where you are always in control. You cannot be made to do anything against your will. It’s like the focused state you get into when you’re absorbed in a great book or a movie - you’re aware, but you’re not thinking about your to-do list.

3. Do I need to believe in past lives or spirituality for this to work?
Absolutely not. The process works with your subconscious mind, not your beliefs. Whether you view the content as symbolic, metaphorical, archetypal, or literal, the healing effect on your current life is the same. You are welcome to interpret the experience in whatever way feels true and comfortable for you. The goal is healing, not conversion.

4. What will I feel like?
Most people feel profoundly relaxed and mentally clear. It’s a bit like a guided daydream or a very deep meditation. You might not even feel "hypnotised" - you may just feel calm and focused. Some people remember everything, some remember parts, and that’s perfectly fine. Your subconscious is listening either way.

5. Can I get "stuck" in hypnosis?
No. You are always able to come back to full alertness on your own. It is a natural state you drift in and out of every day (like just before sleep). The audio will gently guide you back at the end. You are the driver, and the audio is simply the GPS.

6. I'm a very logical, skeptical person. Will this still work for me?
Yes, often very well. Your logical mind (the part that's skeptical) can sometimes get in the way of deep emotional healing. This process allows you to gently set that part aside temporarily so you can access deeper insights and feelings. Think of it as letting your heart and intuition have a turn to speak, without your logical brain interrupting.

7. How is this different from regular meditation or therapy?. vs. Meditation: Meditation is often about observing thoughts or quieting the mind. Hypnotherapy is active and directed - like a guided journey with a specific intention for insight and healing.. vs. Talk Therapy: Talk therapy works primarily with the conscious, thinking mind. Hypnotherapy works directly with the subconscious, where many of our automatic patterns and emotions live, allowing for change at the root level.

8. What can I expect to get out of this?
People use it for many reasons: to release old fears or anxieties, improve self-esteem, break unwanted habits, find creative inspiration, gain clarity on life's direction, or simply to experience deep relaxation and inner peace. It helps you become the best, most authentic version of yourself.

9. Is it safe to do on my own with an audio?
The audio is designed to be safe and gentle for self-guided use. It guides you into a relaxed state and back again. However, if you have a history of severe trauma, psychosis, or serious mental health conditions, it is recommended to work with a qualified practitioner one-on-one instead.

10. How do I know if it's "working"?
Don't look for fireworks. The "work" often happens subtly. Pay attention to small shifts over the days following a session: a sudden new insight, feeling lighter about a problem, a positive change in a habit, a more vivid dream, or simply feeling more grounded and at peace. Trust the process...
